What our family believes
Screens are a gift and a responsibility. In our home, technology serves our family and our faith — not the other way around. We choose to be present with each other, to guard what is pure, and to give grace when we get it wrong.
As parents, we promise…
- • To model the screen habits we hope to see in you.
- • To be curious, not just controlling — to ask about what you watch and play.
- • To keep our word about screen time, and to explain our “no”s.
- • To protect you without shaming you when something goes wrong.
- • To put our own phones down and look you in the eyes.
As kids, we promise…
- • To tell a parent when something on a screen feels wrong or scary.
- • To use screens in the open, not in secret.
- • To be kind online, the same as we would be in person.
- • To ask before downloading, buying, or chatting with someone new.
- • To remember that a screen is never more important than a person.
