Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 13, 2026

Your family's trust is the whole reason AllPureKids exists, so we want to be plain and honest about what we do with your information. This policy explains, in everyday language, what we collect, what we deliberately do not collect, how we use it, how we keep it safe, and the choices you have. We wrote it the way we'd want it written for our own families.

Who we are

AllPureKids is a parenting tool that helps you keep your children's screen time pure and peaceful. At the heart of it is Pip, a gentle guardian who watches over what happens on your child's device and gives you, the parent, a clear picture of what's going on. Pip is built on AI technology from Anthropic. Everything Pip sees is meant for one person only: you.

What we collect

We only gather what we genuinely need to run the guardian and show you an honest history. That includes:

  • Your account email. So you can sign in, so we can reach you about your account, and so we know who the parent is.
  • Family and child first names and ages. First names only, plus an age or age range, so Pip can tailor what's appropriate and so your dashboard feels like your own home. No last names required.
  • Device pairing details. Basic information about the devices you connect — a device name, type, and the pairing status — so the guardian knows which screens belong to your family.
  • Screen events. When Pip reviews activity on a paired device, we record the moment along with Pip's verdict (for example, allowed or blocked), a short reason, and a category. This is the history you scroll through as a parent.
  • Optional encrypted screenshots. If you turn them on, Pip may keep an encrypted picture of the screen tied to an event, so you can see with your own eyes what prompted a verdict. This is your choice, and it can be switched off.
  • Usage sessions. Simple records of when devices were active, so your history and summaries make sense.

What we do NOT collect

This part matters just as much. Some doors we keep firmly shut, by design:

  • No camera surveillance. Pip — the safety monitor — never turns on a camera and never looks at your child or your home through one. (Your child's tablet separately includes its own Camera app for taking fun photos — that's not Pip. Those photos stay on the tablet, are never uploaded to us, and there's no facial recognition or analysis of what's in them. Your child can delete a photo with a two-step confirmation.)
  • No microphone and no audio. Pip does not listen. We do not record, store, or analyze sound of any kind.
  • No biometrics. No faces, no fingerprints, no voiceprints — nothing that identifies a person by their body.
  • No child logins. Children never create accounts or sign in. AllPureKids is a parent-only tool.
  • No child location tracking. We do not follow where your child is or where they go.

How we use what we collect

We use your information for a short, simple list of purposes and nothing more:

  • To run the guardian, so Pip can review screen activity and reach a verdict.
  • To show you, the parent, a clear and honest history of what happened on your child's device.
  • To keep your account working — signing you in and letting you manage your family.

That's it. We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not use your family's activity to sell you things.

How we store and protect it

We treat your family's data the way we'd want ours treated:

  • Encrypted at rest. Screenshots and event history are encrypted where they are stored.
  • Parent-only access. Only you, signed in to your own account, can see your family's history and screenshots.
  • Short-lived screenshot links. When you open a screenshot, we hand your browser a temporary, expiring link rather than a permanent public address. The link goes stale quickly and cannot be shared or reused.

How long we keep it

We believe old data is a liability, not an asset. Screenshots and screen-event history automatically expire and are deleted after 30 days. You don't have to do anything — the clock runs on its own, and once the 30 days pass, that content is gone from our systems.

Who we share it with

Let us be clear and unambiguous: we never sell your family's data, and we never use it to train AI.

To make the guardian work, we rely on a small number of trusted service providers (subprocessors) — for example, the hosting that stores your encrypted data and the technology that powers Pip. Pip is built on AI technology from Anthropic. A screen is analyzed only long enough to return Pip's verdict, and — as our own commitment to you — your family's activity is never used to train AI. Our providers may only handle your data to deliver the service to you, under agreements that hold them to these same commitments.

Your rights as a parent

This is your family's information, and you stay in control of it:

  • Access and export. You can view your family's history any time, and you can ask us for a copy of your data.
  • Correction. If a name, age, or other detail is wrong, you can fix it.
  • Delete everything. You can wipe your family's account with a hard delete. When you do, your history and screenshots are removed for good — not hidden, not archived, but gone.

Children

AllPureKids is built for parents to use on behalf of their children, and children never sign in themselves. Because we care deeply about protecting the youngest members of your family, we've written a dedicated explanation of how we handle children's privacy. Please see our Children's Privacy (COPPA) page for the full details.

Changes to this policy

As AllPureKids grows, we may update this policy. When we make a meaningful change, we'll update the date at the top and, where it matters, let you know directly. We'll always aim to keep it as plain and honest as it is today.
